Women of Color Political Lunch™ + Policy Briefing

Join New Voices for Reproductive Justice and In Our Own Voice: National Black Women's Reproductive Justice Agenda during Women of Color HERStory Month® for our Women of Color Political Luncheon + Policy Briefing on the health and well-being of Black women and girls in Ohio.
This event will take place at the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging again this year and we are thrilled that City of Cleveland Council Member Phyllis Cleveland (Ward 5) will present New Voices with a proclamation to recognize Women of Color HERStory Month® 2018!

We welcome Ohio State Rep. Stephanie Howse (District 21) as she gives her keynote on the exciting work she is leading across our state and welcome Marcela Howell, Executive Director of In Our Own Voice from Washington, D.C. to Cleveland!

We are excited for our dynamic panel discussion which includes the following speakers:

- Marcela Howell, Executive Director, In Our Own Voice
- OH State Rep. Stephanie Howse, District 11
- OH State Rep. Emilia Sykes, District 34
- OH State Rep. Janine Boyd, District 9

We will also hear about the "State of Black Women & Reproductive Justice in Ohio" from Alana Belle, New Voices Cleveland Community Organizer and our panel will be moderated by Maya Jones, New Voices Cleveland Voice Your Vote! Project Organizer.

Lunch will be served.
